Default using '97 EX exhaust/headers on LX

I have a '97 LX 5-spd non-vtec accord, and am looking to order an exhaust/header setup for it. However, being as I'm in Alaska, things get pretty limited in the $$$ area. The decent stuff we've found is stating it is for EX.

Will parts made for the EX model (cat-back exhaust, headers) fit on the LX model with little to no mods needed? Looking to order tomorrow if possible, or as soon as I get a straight answer. Google isn't being very nice to me tonight =p

Let me know if you need any other info.

Yes, as long as the parts are not for the C27 V6, which I highly doubt they are, they should fit fine. Your only concern would be any differences between the VTEC and non-VTEC heads, if any, butI don't think there are. Any parts from a 94-97 4-cyl. will fit your car, unless they tell you it's trim- or VTEC-specific.

Different exhaust manifolds.
Call dealer, ask if exhaust manifold GASKET is the same.

Isn't the difference O-O-O-O for VTEC and O-OO-O for non-VTEC?

Only difference is between F22a/H23 and F22B/F23 and H22

All have their distinct spacing.

Thanks all - the dealership says for the exhaust that the diagrams look the same, but have different part numbers and wasn't sure what the difference was. I called up a good buddy and he said that the hanger placement towards the end is different... go figure they'd change something stupid =p

We're going to keep looking around for headers for my LX to avoid any frustration if we can for now; trying to stay non-vtec with everything ^_^

If PIPE is the same, maybe you can bend/fabricate a hanger?
