Did the valve that appeared to be open in your pic open and close with the one next to it?

uhhh i cant remember now, the one that was open was open by itself but yes the other one is open next to it now, but theyre not AS open lol.

and JGR, i have a dead cylinder in my car and need to replace the head, so the head im asking about is the new one and its stock. i got it used from a friend of a friends, and am just checking it over to make sure it is good. i been taking it apart for cleaning, and getting it prepared to go in the car. i hope this doesnt lead me to new issues lol or i hope i dnt make new issues.
