valve cover gasket kit with spark plug seals
So I bought a kit from Amazon that had the timing belts, water pump, etc. I get the cam assembly off and remove the old gaskets and they don't look like my new ones. From what I can gather there are 2 spark plug related gaskets that can fail on these models? In addition to what I think are supposed to be the seals that go underneath the assembly I got some that are metal backed and I'm not sure what they would go to. (92 LX Manual 4 door) I took a few pictures; the first one it is shown next to the old gasket. The new one is much larger and not at all the shaped like the old one. Did I get the wrong set of gaskets? The last picture is of the gaskets which I am unsure about. Thanks for all thoughts.

Thanks for the replies guys. That makes sense that the ones in the bag would be for the top of the valve cover. So do you think I got the incorrect spark plug seals? Cause they look to have about 2-3x more gasket material than the old ones.

I remember changing the spark plug seals on my 92 Accord, and it had the larger thicker gaskets pictured for between the spark plug tubes, and the valve cover. There are also some o-rings under the rockerarm assembly, and I changed those o-rings too. I don't remember anything looking like that little piece next to the larger one. Did your kit come with the o-rings? If you look down the spark plug tubes (you may need a flashlight), you will see two seams. One under the valve cover, and one under the rockerarms. The or-rings were leaking on my engine, and that's a lot more complicated to change.
