VTC actuator

Default VTC actuator
If I do nothing to try and fix the rattle at start up, will there be any damage I should be concerned about?

Year and engine? I know Honda had a service bulletin about noise on start-up.

Honda has a TSB related to the issue, 09-010, I'd talk to the dealer.
