Warm Engine won't start
My 1996 Honda Accord EX is having problems starting when the engine is hot (not overheated). The car will always start cold, but if the car is warmed up and I stop, say, for gas, the car won't re-start until it has cooled for about 10 minutes. The car will crank fine, it just won't start. Is this a problem with a sensor that is defective? This problem seems to occur more frequently in the summer. Thanks for any help you can give!

RE: Warm Engine won't start
If your problem is correlated to hi cabin temps, it sounds like the main fuel relay. The solder joints wear out and crack, and when the cabin heats up the joints expand, losing contact. Then when it cools off it'll start.
There's lots of writeups online on either re-soldering the relay or replacing it.
BTW, I think your post should've gone in the General Help forum. You may get more replies there.
