warning lights clicker, driver seat moving forward
Hello!
I am driving a 2003 honda accord coupe v6 stick shift, black on black, love it, however, there are a few problems:
1. the clicker (the red triangle in the middle) which turns on the 4 warning signals doesn't do anything when I click it!
any suggestions on how to get that to work, please?
2. the driver seat moves a little bit forward when I brake and it is quite annoying. I tried tightening the "screws" or whatever you would call it and it didn't help.
I have leather, electrical seats.
Is there a way how to fix these myself for cheap?
Thanks a lot, help is appreciated!

3. When I turn into 3rd gear. It is quite problematic in comparison to other gears. I have to use force and sometimes it doesn't "click in". Any suggesions on that?
Btw for #1, the left/right turn signals work fine.

1. For the hazard lights issue, check the No. 16 (15A) fuse in the under-hood fuse box. If the fuse is okay, the hazard switch (which is the button with the red triangle) may need to be replaced. Replacing the switch is just a matter of gently prying the vent trim panel out, disconnecting the hazard switch electrical connector and squeezing the hazard switch clips to pop it out. Refer to Figure 9 and 10 photos in link on how-to-remove the vent trim. Disregard Figure 11 and 12 photos.

2. The seat problem may possibly be a seat track problem. Seat track replacement is expensive though.
3. Possible faulty 3rd gear synchronizer or 3-4 shift sleeve. Fix would be to replace 3rd gear set. Expensive if you are out of warranty. See Honda technical service bulletin (tsb):

1. I'll try to do that, any ideas where I could buy the clicker? (other than honda stealership). First I will, however, check the FUSE. thanks!
and 2 and 3 is just really unfortunate then:/
there is no way they would fix at least the 3rd gear issue without warranty (for free?)
and for the seat problem, is there no way on how to at least temporarily fix it? Like put in a piece of cardboard or something, somewhere, where it slides, so that it wouldn't be noticeable? it is really uncomfortable..
anyways, thanks a lot

I don't have good advice for the transmission. For the seat, you will have to determine if the seat is bolted on the four corners or that the seat is not locking in the tracks.
If the tracks are messed up, you may be able to buy them at a junkyard. It may be easier to buy and install a new seat. Search car-part.com for the seat or tracks to get an idea of the price from junkyards in your area.

Front Seat Track Only
Honda Accord LH MANUAL A P511 $125 Pacific Auto Wrecking USA-CA(Ontario) Request_Quote 1-909-391-2298 Request_Insurance_Quote
57
these seat tracks
and a leather seat for $350...
I was just hoping to be able to block it, wherever there is the space where it moves, so that it doesn't move anymore though.
I mean I am not the only one with this problem, so there is nobody who would come up with a simpler solution to this?
