Suggest solving no-start first as probably unrelated to failure to come out of park.

A start check using a good dose (5-10 secs) of throttle body cleaner or starter into the air intake and attempt to start.

If briefly starts, then spark is good and fuel delivery is problem (main fuel relay or fuel pump).

If still fails to start, then spark is likely missing and fuel delivery is probaly OK .

Post back for additional help.

good luck

No power to the distributor does indicate ignition switch fault. An easy repair to install a new electrical switch assy. Check ericthecarguy and other youtube videos on subject for additional help. Should take a first timer about 1 hr.

good luck
