Default Water leak in the trunk.

1993 Honda Accord.
I dont see the leak but I can feel the carpet in the center of the trunk is wet. This happened while the car was sitting in the driveway. I opened the trunk and felt water. Is it possible the rubber seal no longer meets the trunk lid?
The seal does not look like it has anything wrong with it.
Thanks.

Bob

Oh how I hate finding leaks....not in the right tail light is it, might help with the brake light issue you are having. In the center is a bit strange. Crawl in if you can while the trunk in closed and see if light is coming in from anywhere. Then there is the baby powder method. I have not seen one in the center, if it was on the sides I could give some things I've found over the years...sorry.

Look also at the metal part where the rubber seal attaches. Kinda like a little raingutter around the trunk opening. Rust holes?

Crawl in the trunk with a flashlight & have someone pour water outside with a garden hose.

Tail lite gasket? Maybe.. I will look at that by shooting a hose at it.
Maybe thats why the right tail light is giving me issue.
Thanks for the idea.
