Default Weird headlight issue

Hi all, i did a couple of google and forum searches for this issue over the last day.
Here's the problem:
I woke up this morning, started my car to go to work, both headlights were out, I checked out google until it was bright enough to drive. I replaced both bulbs. Only the driver side is working now.
Here's where it gets strange. I take out the fuse for the passenger headlight (I believe) and both headlights come on, but are much dimmer than usual. both fuses look good. I am at a loss. I'm still trying to find the solution and will post if I find something, in the meantime if anyone has any insight It would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

What year/trim Accord?

Any recent work or accident history that might have damaged grounds for headlights?

good luck

I'm far from an expert, but bad grounds do weird things. The dash ground on my Corvair was poor and would cause the high beam indicator to come on when the high beams were off. Do basic troubleshooting. Grounds, fuses. Make sure the new bulbs are good. The switch could be it too. $$$ Let us know what it is.

It's a 91 honda accord LX no recent work was done, no accidents, just woke up this morning, and nothing. I've done some troubleshooting, I'm gonna do some more during lunch tomorrow.

I had strange headlight issues on my 95 accord. Cleaning the grounds solved the problem.

The grounds for the headlights bolt to the bumper or below the bumper. There is one on each side. It is a bracket with a lot of black wires going to it. Disconnect the bracket, clean the bolt and the bracket area with some sand paper or a wire brush.

For a 1991 Accord, both left and right headlights use the same ground bolt; G201. G201 is located at the right side (passenger side) of the engine compartment. It is higher up and readily visible on the right fender side of the engine compartment.

One more vote for grounds being able to cause all kinds of bizarre things. Especially when it affects other circuits that are supposed to be unrelated.

I've tried to find the g201 ground. I pulled out the battery and some other crap and i cant find it along the passenger fender. Does anyone have a picture or schematic of where this is?
