Wet Sparg Plugs

Default Wet Sparg Plugs

I have a 92 Honda Accord and i am having trouble with the car when in idle its rpms go low then to high I looked at the spark plugs and found that two of them were wet with what smelled oil. What should i

Was there oil in in the tubes? or just on the tip of it?

only in one tube was there oil which when i went to look at it again smelled more like gasoline. The other only had it on the tip. While the car is on the spark plug with the oil on the tube, i felt the top and felt it knocking while the others didnt have an obvious knock then the one with the gas.

Make sure that the spark plug in the leaking tube is tight.

Clean out any oil built up in the tube. Start the car and see if the problem goes away. If the problem goes away, then the upper valve cover seal is leaking oil into the tube and needs replaced.

I cleaned everything out one of the spark plugs was actually loose, but it hasnt solved the problem, the car know just has low rpms and shakes/vibrates when in idle and when driving in gear with low rpms.
