What could be broken?

What could be broken?
Hi, today when I was driving the Accord it would seem that something broke, and now the clutch no longer disengages. Ended up starting it in first with the starter pulling the car until it fired up, and clutchless shifts all the way home. Nasty but it got me home!
I have the skill to fix this, but I'm curious as to what could have broke? My buddy who helped with the new clutch told me maybe the clutch fork broke...but I'm wondering what else it could be? I dont really have the heart to junk it yet, thats for sure. I would appreciate some input here...thanks.

RE: What could be broken?
Check the linkage that goes between the pedal and the master cylinder. If you felt/heard something break, it might be that simple.
I snapped a cable on my S-10 4x4 years ago. Luckily I walked back and found the piece of cable that fell off. Would have cost me more if I had to buy the part that screwed onto the end of the cable too!
Open the bleeder screw at the slave (if there is one) and see if you can get fluid to come out when you pump the pedal. No fluid = bad master (or no fluid in master, but I'm assuming you checked that). Usually when a slave goes out, you lose all the fluid in a hurry.
HTH,
Jim

I guess my video was bad. The slave does move the clutch fork about an inch. I need to put on my new slave cylinder anyway because the bleed screw broke but it must to be something internal. Is there a was to do this without pulling the trans? Some way to maybe just back it off a few inches?

Turned out that one of the clutch springs broke out and got stuck in the pressure plate. Also, the sleeve that the TO bearing rides on was VERY worn, and broken off. You can see it sitting in the bellhousing.

Wow, that's spectacular. Thanks for posting back with the final story, lots of people just disappear & we don't know if we were any help.
When something like thatbreaks, you just have to take it apart & look around.
