what plugs to use for the 98 accord 2.3L vtech
I have read where iridium plugs can cause starting problems.
Just stick with the NGK ZFR5F-11 plugs that you can get for ~$2 each at most parts stores. You just have to change them every 2 years or 24K miles.
As for wires, the OEM ones from Honda last for a long time, so either pick them up from the dealership or get NGK brand.

Oh I always stick with exact oem spec parts. I just hear everyone ranting and raving about iridium plugs. Granted they last longer but other than that, how can they perform better than what the engine/ignition system was built around? Thanks pahonda for the exact oem plug and number. Can you believe the dealer wants 12.60 a piece LMAO. I pity the fool who shops there hahaa. autozone has them for 2.35 walk-in price. And to the latter poster...always stick with what they came with from the factory
which in fact is the v-power copper ngk zfr5f11's.

are you talking about the ZFR5F-11?? if so , dealer sells them for around 3-4 dollars each ,,,,,,,,,,Iridium plugs are a lot more expensive
Not a chance on gods green earth to get them that cheap at FOX Honda (stealership in Syracuse, NY) Unless this parts guy was trying to give me the old bait 'n' swith scheme. He said that exact part number so IDK? What I do know now, and pay close attention Iridium plug lovers. After swapping out fairly new iridium plugs for these oem plugs, Im feeling all kinds of acceleration throughout gears that just wasn't there before. So unless the car was made to have iridium, Just stick with what they started off with.
