Default What Trim-Level Do I Have?

Hey everyone,

I've been sorta wondering what trim-level my car is (EX, LX, etc). The little plate on the rear has been missing since I bought it, and the hood had been replaced so there's no plate under it.

The engine doesn't say VTEC on it, and I don't think it is vtec. Does that rule out EX?

Is there another way to tell?

It's a '96 Accord, manual transmission, 4D/Sedan.

IIRC: This is a U.S model, right? Generally, the EX has a VTEC engine, moonroof, driver power seat height adjustment, 4 wheel disk brakes, 15 inch alloy wheels, etc., etc. If your car doesn't have those, it may be a LX if it has power window etc. If no power windows, then a DX.

I also believe if you enter your VIN at one of the online sites such as Bernardi Honda parts, it will show some of your car info.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I've got an LX, as I do have power windows...

I'm gonna try out what you mentioned about the parts site.

Thanks!

Sounds like you do indeed have an LX. I have the same year and manual mine is an LX.
