Default What in the world is this???

i have this on my car and im not sure what it it... i wasa thinking that i dont need it but before i disassembled it i wanted to make sure that it wasnt necessary to have. it appears to have a protected wire cable leading to my stearing colum, so im thinking it has something to do with cruise control. if anybody know please tell me..

Thanks JD

Are you sure thats a '91' accord?
But that is the cruise control unit....not the flux capacitor

no, this isnt a picture of my car, for i have no camera. but it is in the same place and looks very simular to mine. im a rookie on cars so im definatly learning about cars. i figure an accord would be a great place to start since there are so many aftermarket parts, that way i can gain alot of knowledge on the jist of what things are and how they work

i never said that it was a 91, i said that i had no camera to take a picture of my car, therefore i found a picture that had the similar part to what i have on my car. i was not arguing with what you said. i posted that 2nd picture bkuz i noticed that i blocked some of image. i just wanted to make sure i could take it off and not have to replace alot of other things too

That is the cruise control unit. You will have to remove the other end of the cable from the throttle body.

Is there a specific reason why you want to remove it?
