You may be better off posting in the audio/visual section.

You should also post on what you want out of upgrading the sound system.

In my 94, I just replaced the OE speakers with Boss 6.5's from Amazon to the tune of $17.99 a pair, plus I got free same day with my prime account.
They sound great with an aftermarket head unit!

PAhonda. I did and got ZERO replies.. too many "stickies" on that thread, nobody every scrolls down far enough to see a new post

Anyway..I ordered Infinity speakers. I will let you know how they sound over OEMs. Thorsteernster, thanks for your reply. BOSE for that cheap is amazing! glad your liking what you got.

Ha, no no no, not Bose, Boss! This is Project El Cheapo, it gets Boss, Sorny, and Panaphonic brands.

Brianwsnc, didn't realize there are a ton of stickies in that forum. I'll try to find a moderator to volunteer and clean up that section.

Please follow up with your results on both threads, so other members can learn from your experience.

Thank you PAhonda. I do appreciate the quick and helpful reply. I will follow up with results for others that might be interested in my modest upgrade.

I think you will be very happy with the Infinity's. I have been a big Infinity fan and user since the late 80's and they never seem to disappoint. All at a good price point also!

Merely as a point of info, Honda is using Infinity speakers in the '16 EX-L
