I have a 2001 Accord EX, 5 speed, just turned 193K. I turned off the radio today (for once) and I have a chirping/"whirring" sound coming from the front end. I usually on hear it at low speeds, 25-40mph (with the windows down). Could these be the wheel bearings needing to be replaced?

 

Could be a wheel bearing but, a disc brake pad sensor will produce that sort of sound whena brake pad is approaching its minimum thickness.

 

I think I can rule out the brake pad sensor, they were just replaced a month ago (with new rotors), I"ll check them but hopefully they didn't wear out that quickly.
