Think I should change wiring too at this point?
Iridiums are my choice these last 5 yrs, cars and motorcycles.
But don't try to increase the gap on them, 'cuz the stiff little iridium posts just break off.
Can decrease gap as desired, tho. Me, I just throw 'em in (as purchased) w/ anti-seize on the threads.

Also just me, I don't change wiring till I have a problem; doesn't sound like you have a problem...

There is no high voltage wiring as was the case w/ a distributor. The COP's are not a maintenance item, but will fail occasionally. Usually when spark plug gaps have gotten too large.

good luck

don't use anything but NGK or Denso plugs anything else is crap on Hondas
remember that they are going to last you another 100k miles , so the extra money on NGK or Denso will be well spent

Cool

Just thought I'd add to this thread. I recently changed all 6 spark plugs in my 04 Honda Accord at 90,000 miles. I hope this helps anyone thinking about changing their spark plugs

The OEM Honda spark plugs are NGK or Denso.

You can get NGKs at most parts stores for around $10 a spark plug. I usually change by the mileage and not the time.

For the 03-07 4 or 6-cylinder, the NGK plugs you want are IZFR6K11. Only use these plugs, nothing else.

There is a sticker either under your hood or on the driver's door jamb with this information. The owner's manuals should have this information.

I bought 4 NGK Laser iridium IZFR6K11 part # 6994 at autozone for $9.99 each the same as the honda dealer asked $21,30 if i`m not wrong. This are oem and i will replace it tomorrow if is not raining that can be done in about 1 hour easily.Remove the plastic cover, the coil plugs and with a flash light u can see them allllll the way down inside the valve cover or whatever u guys call it.Tip:be carefull to not let the spark pulg socket get stuck in there and this will be a pain in the neck to take it out unless you have pacience and a lonnnnng neck ply i will use same gray tape and cut the rubber tthat holds the spark in half and take some pics and post is here and also change the air filter.
