Hello! Need help. I am having some issues with my radio. The head unit shares both radio, cd and ac options. All display when car is on. However, I have no sound being produced. My theory is since the options still display than the amplifier is bad.

Does anybody have any insight to my problem? Also, where is the amplifier located in the car? I heard it is behind the head unit opposed to being built into the head unit.

If that is the case, can I replace the head unit myself or should I have certified individual do it?
