Default Where does this hole go?

2003 V6 Accord. Not a pic of my heads, but the hole is about the same. Front bank, towards front bumper. Dropped a broken-off drillbit and the magnet that was supposed to retrieve it down the circled hole. Does it lead straight to the oil pan, or are there twists/turns/screens in the way? Need to know before I drop the pan looking for pieces. Thanks

Those are bolt holes for the head bolts. Should have a bottom.

good luck

This is what I get for using the wrong pic. Here's a better pic. The hole I'm referring to isn't threaded and goes pretty deep.

Bolt holes are penetrate through cylinder head w/o threads. The holes terminate in engine block. There are no threads in the head itself.

I looked at bolt tensioning pattern for 03-06 V6 and it matches your pic. There are 8 head bolts. I can see 3 on this pic, and one is beind the threaded bolt hole for valve cover. 4 on far side are not visible in pic.

good luck
