I was getting started to flush out my heater core and i noticed this hose hanging down plugged with a screw. Any ideas?

 

The component is the engine mount control solenoid valve. The line probably originally went to the vacuum assisted rear engine mount. A replacement rear engine mount (without vacuum assist) may have been used in place of the original. The line was probably capped off because of that.
