Where is the starter on a 2012 Accord LX 2.4 Engine?
Listed question in the DYI section -
I know this sounds stupid but it's 20 degrees outside and I'm trying to save my nephew money and replace the starter ourselves. I'm very much mechanically inclined, restore muscle cars as a hobby (garage is full with 68 Chevelle undergoing frame off restoration). Is the starter under the intake manifold or underneath in the back of the engine with only lying on the ground for access? I'd like to replace this thing as quickly a possible. Google is not that specific.

Under the intake manifold -towards the front of the car.........be careful, the knock sensor is close to it and it "sometimes" gets hit by the starter when removing it
