Why does my 2011 Honda Accord LX-S have a timing belt, instead of a timing chain?
Hi, why does my 2011 Honda Accord Coupe LX-S (4 cylinder) have a timing belt, instead of a timing chain?
An internet search shows that it is supposed to have a timing chain. What could be the reasons why it has a timing belt?
The car was purchased used from a Honda dealership a couple of months ago. It's in good condition. The only problem I've had with it is a squeaking noise when I start the car in the morning only. I started looking at the engine and that's when I realized that it has a timing belt, instead of timing chain.
Thank you
