Hi, i have a 97 accord se. my front driver and passenger windows roll down but will not roll back up. i am pretty sure my motors are bad. my rear windows are fine. i was wondering can i simpliy just switch my motors from the back into the front and put the bad ones in the back and replace them at a later time?

 

No, they are not swapable, the motor and regulator come as a complete unit.

 

You can not interchange the regulators but you might be able to change the spindle of motors. thats what i did with my driver side motor. But are you sure motors are bad cuz when i opened them they dont have anything special they are just normal motors so if they turn one way they should go other way. try checking it by directly connecting it with battery if it goes one way then interchange the wire and see if it goes other way. The only problem ihad was taking out bushings because my motor was blown and plastic holding bushing was melted. Give ur self time repair them on weekend.
