Default window slow moving

Hi, I have a 95 Accord, when the passenger window is moving it is like the energizer bunny it keeps going and going and going because it is so slow. The window is an after-market window, could that be part of the problem? The driver side window is faster but not as fast as the back windows. What can I do to fix this problem, sometimes I think it is just going to stop moving it is so slow.

Thank You
Damon

I use to do auto glass. Ive been in the glass business for 25 years. If its not the motor going bad what I use to do was shoot some graphite down the felt channels and that would help allot. Give it a try.

Slow window is very common. Don't take the door apart there is nothing to lube inside. Get some Dry Lube spray at hardware store, silicone or teflon based, and soak the glass guides. Run it up and down and soak it again. These windows do NOT move very fast even when new or slicked up, but this help greatly. Don't wait becuase you could burn up the motor.

make sure that engine is running when operating the windows .. but as they say, try lubing them first . wd-40 works good as well

My driver window is like that, mostly in the winter. I used some silicon based lube on the tracks, and it helped a bit. My pass. window is a bit faster, but I know that these windows are slow. Now that it is warming up, it is getting better.

Could be the motor going bad, also could be the watherstripping around the window itself is old. As the rubber gets old it doesn't easily bend itself around the glass as it moves up and the glass has to work harder to force itself up the track. This also wears out the motor, complicating matters more.
