Default Would this Key Work?

I found a lighted BMW un-cut key on ebay,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-L...34533654QQrdZ1

Was wondering if it would work to get made into my key.. I had no idea, but it seems a blank key gets cut so it would work.

It's a joke lol, because my car now has A/C, Heat, etc.. compared to my last vehicle.. so I've been calling it a Beamer haha.

Best bet is to take a picture of it to your local BMW dealer and ask them if that's possble!

They will either tell you yes or Lie to you and tell you NO!...I think it has a security chip in it!

You want to get that BMW key cut so it works in your Accord?? I bet the size & shape of the blank is wrong, so it won't work. Besides, the protocol for the immobilizer is probably much different so your Accord won't recognize it.

since you indicate that you have a 1996 accord, if the key physically fits into the ignition, then you can have it cut and it will work. Accords did not get an immobilizer until the 1998 model year.......
