The car-part.com site searches junkyards for used parts. It is listing only 96-97 accords. Not sure what is different between the 94-95 and the 96-97. There can't be much.

Have you tried changing the transmission fluid? Does the D4 light start flashing when driving? Have you checked for error codes from the TCU?

no codes at all and no flashing d4 light and it just had a recent fluid flush.

Just thought that I would ask.

You may also want to clean the shift and lockup solenoids, and the screens on the gaskets with throttle body cleaner. It can hurt to try.

That car-part.com site will help you locate a replacement transmission by price or distance.

Only thing I can think of that would be different-OBD1 vs OBD2...

When the fluid was changed, was Honda Z1 used. Was this "flush" done before or after the issue.

I'm not sure about automatics, I know manuals any 92-02 Accord(except V6) or prelude transmission will work. But it shouldnt be too hard to just find a 96-97 if that is what you are looking for.
