On my 98 accord sometimes the sun roof will vent on it's own. When I try to close it the switch does work unless I play with it. I thought it was the switch so I toke it out and it still opened. Has anybody had this problem? I think it grounded some where.

This is not all the time, it works fine at times.

 

Just to make sure I understand properly but sometimes the sunroof just opens up on it's own? IF that's the case it could be a bad ground. If the switch is still open I would just disconnect the power lead to the switch and tape it off. If the issue stops then at least you know it's somewhere after that point... it could also be the switch itself...

 

Yeah that's what I think too. I'm going to try that as soon as it acts up again.

 

never heard of that problem. usually on a honda even if none of the windows will roll down or up that moonroof will always work.
