I am thinking getting a new exhaust system for my 1991 Accord EX....it has the stock one right now....I'm gonna start with a new muffler first...Flowmaster....will that change the sound? also the amount of power and MPG's? which flowmaster will fit? something I can do myself? do I have to weld it?..sorry I'm new at EXhaust stuff...I had it done in my GMC truck...but not sure if it's something that takes an exhaust pro...

 

i don't want it to sound ricey and fast and furious...I want it to have sound...but just a low hum...nothing crazy...

 

I have a flowmaster on my 1994 accord w/ a 2.2 liter in-line four cyclinder. It is a 60 series muffler. They are designed and attended for 4 & 6 cyclinder vehicles. It has a nice rumble to it. No "fart can" sound here.
