Hello, I have a 2000 Honda Accord EX with a 3.0 V6 VTEC engine. It is in great shape..only 89,000 miles on it. Runs great. Like new. What are your thoughts of me putting on a cold air intake system. Is there a benefit or just for looks? Also I see a bunch on ebay ranging from 39.99 to 300.00. Also would it help just to put a K&N air filter in instead of the stock one? Or should I just leave it alone> stock. The car is all stock and runs great. Thanks again. Tom

 

I haven't owned a 6th-gen V-6, but IN GENERAL Honda intakes aren't horribly restrictive. An intake can only improve things to the extent that the stock intake is restricting. So I expect the gain to be pretty small.

But they look nice and sound cool...

 

not checked for 3:0 V6. but on my F18B. only air intake they did for my model was Green cotton..
