air breather

does anyone know anything about air breathers that hook up on the intake and the engine .my boy got a 94 accord and decided to put them on.they look like little intake filters. any gains from using these???

Nope. Completely pointless. Just keep the VC vent line hooked up to the intake and the PCV valve hooked up to the intake manifold.
