am i supposed to cover my ac line after intake installation?

Default am i supposed to cover my ac line after intake installation?

my friend told me that the hot intake will burn my ac wire, is this true?
and what do i use to cover the ac line, thermal wraps?

No need to cover the wire. It's already in the engine bay, there is no way your intake is going to be heating up more than that unless you were running a supercharger or turbo without an intercooler.

Does your intake tube touch the line? On mine it touched so I used some wrap thing that came with my intake and used a zip tie to hold it on there. It was in the instruction manual....

i have an aem sri too, but they never gave me anything like that, but my line does touch the intake though...

If it touches you may want to cover it to prevent the line or the intake from rubbing holes into each other, but there won't be any heat issue.

Really? They gave me something to cover it up and a zip tie. There was also something in the instructions about moving the line, but it was a big hassle so I chose this option.
