i'd rather buy one off ebay, but i've heard some positive things about AEM

so doe's anyone think this is a quality cai. i'm not so worried about the price, just the performance

$318 for an AEM cold air is ridiculous. I got my AEM short ram for $110 shipped, a cold air shouldn't be that much more. You're better off buying an eBay intake and putting an AEM DryFlow filter on it. Same aluminum pipe, same great filter, same great performance.

I agree with finch13. That is a lot of cash.

a pipe is a pipe... as long as it's shaped the same way you're fine...

it's not like a b-pipe where mandrel bends matter due to backpressure - this is just sucking air into your intake.

ALL true, you can do that if your low on cash, But if you want a good Intake get a AEM V2, if they dont make it for your year then the link you put, the aem cold air is a awsome intake, I had a AEM cold AIR for 4 years never had a problem gave awsome gain during the high rpm's is when it really would kick in. the bypass valve was giving me problems because of the plastic ring, anywayz I turned it into a short ram, u can click on the link and see the PIC, NOW its loud, not as much power but sounds nice. Soon I will be getting the AEM V2 Cold air is the way to go, hope this helps FOX

I would go with a CAI Injen or SRI Injen, I bought my SRI Injen for 75$ Brand new.

Came with filter, space, hosing, piping, and a license plate frame.

I got a good buy ^_^
