Hey guys, im new here so wats up?...I have a question regarding my 08 Accord Coupe V6. I'm thinking about getting replacement mufflers so that the car gives a good deep sound at the low end..then ripping sound at the high end. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, my friend told me that if the dealer installs the parts, your warranty isn't void. Any help would be great..thanks!

 

As far as i know having the dealer instal the parts still voids the warranty. After market parts void the warentee regardless because there not OEM. It wont void the entire warenty, just the part that is replaced. So if you replace the muffler with aftermarket your muffler is no longer under warentee.

 

Please, no cherry bombs. You have a nearly new Accord, not a 1985 Chevy 1500....

I dont know if there are any after market cat-backs out for the 8th gens yet... you could possibly pick up a GReddy or APEXi can and get custom piping with a 22" Vibrant resonator in there.... bet that would sound good.

well my 91 LX has a 2 ft cherry bomb glass pack.
it has the deeep "rice" sound on the low end
then when the rpm's are high the sound winds up pretty loud.
I also have a 83 chevy that i have a cherry bomb on that gives that
truck grumble.
But in the case of my car its sounds VERY nice.
I love the sound.
i paid about $150-
to have a shop complete re pipe my hole exhaust.
including replacing the muffler
with the glass pack.
Im very happy with it.
