couple questions bout a exhaust
Ive been lookin at them, I have a 1200 watt amp at 2 ohm.. I know thats max but i dont wanna overwork my alternator....I was thinking the stock diameter lightened sets would be a good idea....Not sure how they affect the warranty though....I need to regain the low-end I lost..I know that...maybe they would help...
The stock dia. pulley will get most of the gains ..... I'd add a 1F capacitor if you don't already have one. Shouldn't be any warrantee issue .... especially if you keep the stock in case you need to swap it back on. Pulleys won't gain low-end torque, but they allow you to rip past the dead band quicker (1000-3000). Just think, you have the 3-step VTEC! I have less low-end torque!
the only way it would diminish engine life is if the user pushes the car harder because he wants to hear his new exhaust. we all want that satisfaction of improving something and showing off something new, i know i do. if you drive like normal, even push it every so often, you should be fine.
