Dirty Intake.
I've had my intake for quite some time and havent cleaned it before. I plan on doing so within the next two months, but how much can a dirty filter reduce gas mileage by? It seems my gas mileage is getting worse and I only have 82k on it. I filled it up, and now have put exactly 250 miles since the fill up, and my gas gauge is a smidge below the 1/2 point between Empty and a 1/4.
Could my I/H/E really have lowered it that much? I've WOT a couple of times, and havent really driven it that hard. Any ideas? Maybe its just the filter.

RE: Dirty Intake.
yeah, I need to get the cleanign kit off eBay. Theres no way im paying $45 for another dryflow filter everytime!
wonder how dirty it is....
If I get 300 miles outta this tank, that means im averaging 25 mph...which is pretty bad.

Ordered the cleaning kit from AEM....$17.99 w/ shipping......the $9 for shipping seems kind of ridiculous for two bottles. Companies these days.....
The shipping is getting bad for sure..sometimes I send out a pkg that doesn't weight even 1.8 lbs and it still cost $10-12 $ because that is minium pkg size rates..
