Has anyone heard about a problem with the 2001 auto trans. that honda wanted to keep it as quite as possible? i just had one replaced after 123000 KM ,also can anyone tell me what % of weight is on the front and back wheels? thanks jeff

 

hi first off i would like to welcome you to the forum!!!! second the trannys for all 2000-2001 honda accord has a recall on them... so they extended the warranty to 7 years or 100,000 miles which ever comes first... and the other question about the wieght of the back and front i do not know honestly but i am sure someone on here knows and would gladly answer the question for you.... and welcome on board again

 

I'll second the tranny issues, honda of america will help with them if your car qualifies.... As far as weight distribution goes I don't know either....

 

thanks for the replies honda canada never told me about the recall but next time i go into the dealer i will ask them about it.

 

It's a warranty extension here in the USA. I dont know about it in canada.
