front mount intake

Default front mount intake

Have you guys ever heard of this or seen it looks like an intercooler but it a cold air intake.

Sure have! I think it would look really cool...but i'd be really worried when it rains.

i wonder if u get more hp well they sell a plastics cover which suppose to protect from heavy rain.

If you did, it wouldnt be very much. I saw the plastic voer and if its like the ones ive seen on eBay i'd still be wary of it. I mean if your on the interstate behind a semi your filter is going to get saturated no matter what. I mean its your choice. If it doesn rain much where you live or you drive it mainly on nice days then go for it. But if you are precautious id go w/ the cai w/ a bypass valve. But the look of it is still sweet!

yeah thats true anyways im planning on getting a turbo so that will be a waste a money just thought it was interesting never seen before.

ya i agree with 19accord97 i would go with a reg cold air intake or u can do a short ram and have a little bit better throttle response but not much more. but cai is better cuz with the sri ur not gettin as much of air unless u have a hood with a scoop the the sri gets alot of air
