now im asking, if i were to skip the header swap, and go with a throttle body spacer and a performance throttle body, and replace the exaust... what exaust would you reccomend. im going to have to replace it anyway considering i rounded off the bolts trying to get to the oil pan (due to leak). should i stay with stock or add a performance one?

If you have a f22a4 engine you should take the money for the TB and the spacer and buy a used h22 top half of the intake mani and bolt it to the a4 runners. It's a bigger intake mani all around. That will give you a better gain then a bigger TB and spacer.

As for the exhaust run a 2.25' MANDREL bent or a 2 1/2' CRUSH bent.

ok thanks for the help, bro. do you have any further suggestions? as of now im open to any, considering i have little knowledge on this vehicle. and on that pipe, is that bent enough to where it isnt too loud? im wanting to make it a sleeper. i know that i can add a silencer on it too, to make it quieter, but os there anything else?

by the way, what does the crush bent sound like? that would give it more restriction so would it make more noise less of a low rumble that the mandrel would give you correct?

Mandrel will give you a smoother sound and flow b/c there isn’t as much turbulence as the crush bent. But if you want to be a sleeper get a RSX type S muffler they TEND to be more quite then after market.

ok, if i were to do that would it fit outta the box? or would i have to custom fit it in order for it to fit onto my headers, and add mounting brackets too? since it is for an acura and all. i know that they are practically the "same" car different company and what-not, but is there any difference in the parts and location of how they are attached to the car? i found a whole exaust for less than 2 bills thats why i ask... otherwise if i straight pipe it would a silencer do any justice to the noise or would it leave it rumbling like a dull thunder

RSX is more closely related to a Civic, so I wouldn't expect it to fit "out of the box".

I mean the RSX type S MUFFLER...not the whole exhaust and No I don’t see a rsx full exhaust working on any accord.
