Welcome
i was in your shoes a few short months ag, relax, there is a lot of good folks in here who will help.
air or cold intakes are a dime a dozen, many price ranges, stay away form cheap stuff on e-bay, only my opionion however.
youll get many suggestions.
i have the same engine you have the j series j 30 3.0 v6 .
I went with the comptech CAI system, a bit pricier than others, not as loud, but sounds great at 3500rm and above.
it also offers protection from water ingestion.
Just today i had a magnaflow high flow cat convertor and a magnaflow cat back exhasut sytstem installed, once again a bit pricier, for me, i beleive that if im going to modify my car, do it with quality parts.
headers are tricky for our engine, comptech again, but very very pricey, im still researching which way i intend to go, stay in touch and i will let you know.
good luck

my initial reseach shows that perfomance transmission can be had but so far i have seen them in the 2500 to 3000 dollar range.
