Default header and exhaust question

im thinking of getting either a JVTR header or Skunk2 for my '99 accord, J30A1. my roommate says the JVTR, im not sure. as for the exhaust....im looking at a cat-back system. GReddy, Tanabe, and Skunk2 have some great exhausts for my car. which one do i pick? id prefer not to break the bank, but can if need be. any opinions and tech info would be welcome. thx

well skunk2 doesnt make headers, so that narrows that down, although i have never even heard of "JVTC"

megan and obx make the better cheaper ones

while DC has the more expensive end covered

I personally have a Skunk2 exhaust, and i love it. Has a deep throaty sound at low rpms, a non ricy deep sound that peeks at like 3300rpm and then after about 4k you cant even really hear the exhaust.

however it is quite loud

Of the exhausts mentioned, the EVO2 is the most highly regarded. For a quieter, equal quality exhaust, look into the SP2 or the Apexi WS2.

I've got a magnaflow. They sell bolt on systems. I had mine done at a muffler shop. It sounds low and deep. Non ricy!

haha i just posted a thread about about this a couple days ago. exact same situation. JVTR headers or OBX. I went with OBX stainless steel headers and the Apexi WS2 exhaust system. JVTR is manufactured by Tunerz Image i believe. I heard Megan and OBX are the exact same style as DC however, without the R & D cost.

good luck
