Default Headers horsy?

How much horsey does a header give you? I live in cali so i probably go with the DC but i was wonder do you really feel the power when the header is install? so far i have a short ram and working on the header and then the exhaust but i was just wondering if you really feel the horsey.

You should notice the loss in power off the line.

SRI and cat-back are fine, but keep the stock exhaust manifold.

As stated twice above, the horsepower isn't producedtill you really get up in the RPM range (like 4k). You actually lose torque. And I doubt you will feel any gain becualse you'll probably only gain like 1 or 2 extra hp.

Haha.........I think we may need to start a "4cyl header haters" club.

its more than 2 hp. most of the gains are in the midrange. if you were talking about a 4-1 design then i would agree with the upper range power gains. however 4-2-1 were designed for lower-midrange power. anyway it all depends on the motor. my h22 loves air and is hard to get enough. grreat flow is good for me. others with weaker motors might not feel the same gain or respond as well to mods in general. depending on which brand you go with the header is the best bang for your buck bolt on. in order of gains, it goes header, exhaust, intake.

Maybe if you are in a state where you can put a 200.00 obx header. He is from calif. like me and needs to be a carb exempt one, which gets kinda pricey.
