have a 2002 accord with h/i/e and if i put on a obx high flow cat will that make my car have less power because it will be to much air? thats just what i have heard, or will it give me a lil bit of a gain?

The more air your exhaust, including the cat, can flow, the better. You'll see a little bit of a gain with a high flow cat versus OEM.

I'm not sure that an OBX cat is really any higher flow than OEM. The only true performance cat that I know of for Hondas is Random Technologies.

that's true with regard to the pipe size. The cat is just a point restriction, which is best to be minimized ..... the problem is that if it's too little of a restriction, it is not performing it's function of converting exhaust gasses to water, CO2 and N2.

If you mean a 2.5"cat-back as well, the restriction could be helping you as mentioned. The real problem is that the flow is too slow through a 2.5" cat-back from a 4-cyl.
