Default Injen CAI

Hi there. I just picked up an Injen Cold Air intake for my 1996 Ex sedan from a local shop. Probably won't get to the install tonight but i'll do it tomorrow. Anyone have tips or hints before i get started? Thanks. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Edit: Also wanted to know if anyone has done a CAI install without taking off the bumper. Not too familiar with taking it off. Does anyone have and advice to taking it off? Thanks.

I installed an AEM CAI on my 1991 Accord EX-R and although they recommended the bumper come off, I just pulled back the splash gaurd from inside the wheel well and installed the filter through that opening. Saves some time.

thanks alot! that really helps. I looked at the bumper today, it seems like only a couple screws are holding it in but im gonna try it your way first and then if not take it off. Thanks again.

There's more than a couple screws holding on the bumper... The grille comes out and there are screws under the head lamps.

I did what s_mackenzie10 did and pulled the splash gaurd back. Worked fine for me. The only other thing I would recommend is saving your stock parts. Just in case...

i pulled back the splash guard as well, it made for awkward reaching but it was still very do-able
