i got a aem short ram intake and wanna get the aem v2 doz it make a difference in perofrmance wise or same thing

 

it'll sound a bit different, generally deeper, 2 or 3 resonance points and will add a fraction of an HP. The performance increase won't be noticible.

Also, I'd expect the resonance points to have less sound power than the simple CAI.
