Hey guys, I am new around here. I dont know too much about cars and am trying not to get over my head. I have a 96 accord ex 5sp. and am looking at replacing the exhaust with a performance exhaust. I want it to be pretty loud, but straightforward to install, legal, and as low a tone as possible without spending too much. What are some reliable, inexpensive systems you can vouch for? Any info good or bad on SRS exhaust? And do I want catback or what? Thanks alot to anyone who posts, its appreciated.

 

Just add a muffler to your car. Those are about as cheap as you will get (not really much performance either) and will give you a loud sound. Otherwise, if you want more performance, go with the whole cat-back system. Not sure about sound and whatnot, but some really good brands are Megan Racing, Greddy, or Apexi.
