Default Mid Muffler

Anyone remove the mid-muffler on a V6 and replace with a straight pipe? Thoughts?

Thanks

Not looking for any gains. Just looking for a deeper/throaty sound. Was thinking of removing mid muffler and replacing stock resonator with a magnaflow.

thats called the resonator. if you remove it, your exhaust will sound like POOP**

There is a resonator (which I plan on leaving in) and a mid-muffler (which I plan on taking out) right before the split.

whoops! i was wrong, ive never seen a mid muffler before, wow ultra quiet! crappy flow though. the resonator is usually a straight-through design that muffles the noise of the exhaust before getting to the actual muffler. it normally quiets the higher tones of the exhaust note, leaving a more pleasant, deeper sound.
