is it necessary to flush my radiator to install my sri?

Default is it necessary to flush my radiator to install my sri?

the instructions say
"drain about 1 gallon of coolant from the cooling system."

but ive never heard anyone talk about doing that for the installation

have you guys installed a sri without doing this?

the intake i have is an AEM shor ram

no, it is not necessary to flush it. just put it on and you should be fine.

No idea why it would say to do that...your intake system and cooling system are not interconnected

thunder your right though i put an aem short ram in my 94 accord and it said the exact same thing. i ignored it and just replaced it. there was no problem

yea, i just finished installing mine today without doing it
ive only had a small test run so far, haven't really tested it yet

Sometimes I wonder where the people who box these certain brans get those little pieces of papers that they stick in those boxs, Ive sold ..oh maybe 2,000 of these CAi's and SRI's over the last 5 years or so and have never seen those little pieces of papers in any of thoses box's..Install and stay out of large puddles
