Default New Intake, Filter question

I just recieved the intaked I bought from ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=290173567571

I need to get a K&N filter for it but when i went on the site to search for universal cone filters, there are so many choices and size, do I have to get the exact same size filter as the one that came with the intake or will any universal filter fit on the intake?

Thanks in advance

My best advice would be to measure the diameter of the tubing you bought (in inches)and search for a K&N filter with the opening the same size....

Go down to your local Advance Auto Parts or AutoZone. Bring in the crappy filter that came with the intake. Find one that is the same size where it attached to the pipe. Ibet you $1it is 3 inches.

I didn't quite understand that last part...

AutoZone sells K&N filters, they just don't have them on the floor.

AutoZone here sells K&N. Advance Auto Parts sells K&N and AEM Dryflow - that's where I got mine.

Since you live in Cali I would suggest returning the intake and get a CARB exempt intake.
