Default that nice import sound

was up im new here, i gots a 94 accord lx , with the 2.2 non vech f22
i hear this nice import sounding exhaust on the golf R32's and i fell in love i want that sound
notin like this cruddy muffler sound you hear all around town and it sounds like crap
but that nice import sound that almost sounds like a street bike, not quite, but you know what i mean
what makes that sound is it the type of exhuast system, the size of the pipes the headers or what
and how can i get thta sound cheap i dont have a whole lot of money

and my other concern was: i just got a nice system in it
i got 2 rocksford fosgate p3's 1000 watts max 500 rms a piece with a 1500 watt max clarion DPX11500 amp 1500 watt rms also at 1 and 2 ohms and thats how there hooked up
it sounds like crap in my car like it hits real hard but the back dash bounces up and down and rattles and the trunk just rattles so loud
what are my other alternatives for that other than dynomat cause its so much to have it installed
someone please help me out

greddy sp2, apexi ws2, and certain twinloop mufflers sound great, nice clean, deep non-raspy sound. as for your system, have you thought about turning the sub/overall volume down? i have a "system" too and it never does that. although i usually keep the level around speaking/cellphone volume.

having dynamat installed? its not that complicated, just cut, peel, and stick, just do it yourself.

Thick walled muffler with adjustable baffels can give your car a better sound without the tinney sound some mufflers get.

i go to a high school with a lot of kids that have done everything to cars and the best sounds ive heard was on a civic that has an apexi WS2 exhaust on it with a dc header on it. i believe the whole piping and exhaust is better cause when they dont do the whole piping they dont get the performance and it sounds like a fart can. i own the same type of accord as your to a T and i have a magnaflow exhaust on mine and it sounds great. i have i clip for ya if ya wanna hear.... http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oid=2021062075 that is with an aem intake, stainless steel 4-2-1 header, and the magnaflow. i love my sound too because it is noticeable but not to loud in regular drive range (1000-3000 RPM) but it just sounds like any other high perofmance from 3000 RPM on. also it gives you alot of performance boost too! i have stock hubcaps but they are wrapped in some pirelli tires that had trouble spinning in the rain before i had the set up and now they can be ripped on dry easy, and pirelli's are hard to do that with!
