Default opinion about my custom exhaust

i read through all the threads about exhaust and there seem to be a whole lot of info.i plan on getting a custom set up which i will delete the stockcat.converter since where i live it would not matter law wise, then where the cat.used to be i was going to replace it with a magnaflow muffler, delete the resinator with at the end of theexhausta universal muffler at the tip one that looks like a bazooka.the size of the exhaust will be 2.5 and i am hoping for a low deep sound.please let me know what you all think about this setup and what will be the best without losing hp.-thank you

2.25 is about the biggest piping you want on a N/A car

If you put a muffler where the cat was, you will fry it. Mufflers aren't built to handle the temperatures that the cat sees. If you don't need to have a cat, you can get long tube, 4-2-1 race headers, but for normal driving, the stock manifold will give you more low-end torque. Alternately, you can replace the cat with a test pipe. As mentioned, the best setup for you is a pre-made 2.25" cat-back ... a 2" would be good also.

Your engine would use a 2.5-3" system only if turbocharged.
